1. Policy Statement
JADE Corporate & Community Development has a policy of providing refund of fees to students and to safeguarding those fees until a request and appropriate assessment has been made of their full or partial refund.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this procedure is to ensure participants are refunded fees where appropriate.

This procedure applies to any staff involved in the processing of refunds by JADE Corporate.

7.1 ACCREDITED TRAINING
Applying for refund
Any participant applying for a refund must do so in writing to the CEO, Julie Agnew, of JADE Corporate & Community Development stating the reasons for requesting a refund.
Cancellation
When the accredited training program/qualifications/training program has been cancelled by JADE Corporate & Community Development, JADE Corporate & Community Development will refund the course fees paid in full within fourteen (14) days of the cancellation.
Assessment of Refund
Upon receipt of the application for refund of fees in writing, the appropriate staff member of JADE Corporate & Community Development will check to ascertain whether the participant has attended classes, or been issued with any relevant training materials or resources.
Exceptional circumstances
In exceptional cases of financial hardship or other extenuating circumstances, the participant may make an application for full or partial refund and forward this in writing to the CEO of JADE Corporate & Community Development.
Approval
The CEO of JADE Corporate & Community Development will then determine whether the application is approved. If approved, the student will be removed from enrolment, and the cost of the course fees, less 10% for administration fee, will be refunded within fourteen (14) days.
RPL
The recognition enrolment fee does not guarantee a successful recognition outcome and fees paid will not be subject to any refund of the RPL fee.
7.2 NON ACCREDITED TRAINING
The Client will pay the full fee if cancellation is less than two days before the event once contract or enrolment has been entered/agreed, however training/the activity/workshop may be honoured at a later date.
The Client will pay 25% of the full fee if less than five days, but more than two days before the event, once contract or enrolment has been entered.
The Client will pay 10% of the full fee if more than five days before the event, once contract or enrolment has been entered/agreed.
7.3 CAREERS MARKET / CORPORATE EVENTS
Registration Cancellation by Participant / Company
· Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 5 business days before the event.
· Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a 10% service fee.
· Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
· Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
· Cancellations will be accepted via, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
· All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
· Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
· Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
