7.1. Collection, Use & Disclosure
JADE Corporate and Community Development will only collect confidential information which we deem relevant to our business relation with you or your organization.
When we collect confidential information we will inform you of the purpose for which it is collected. Primarily, it will be to provide you with the service you have requested and the administration of that service.
We may need to disclose your confidential information to a third party. This will only occur where we are allowed to or be obliged to by law or where we have your express or implied consent. Express consent is when you clearly and unmistakably state so in writing or when speaking to a staff member.
Implied consent is where we have reasonably assumed you have given consent from your behavior.

JADE Corporate and Community Development will use all reasonable steps and up-to-date techniques and processes, which meet current privacy standards, to protect all confidential information from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification and disclosure.
Only authorized employees of JADE Corporate and Community Development will handle or have access to your confidential information. All employees of JADE Corporate and Community Development are bound by both the JADE Corporate and Community Development Code of Conduct and by confidentiality clauses in their employment contracts.
Paper documents are protected from unauthorized access or use through the various document security systems we have on our premises. We also maintain up-to-date computer and network security systems and appropriate firewalls, encryption technology and passwords to protect electronic copies of personal information.
7.3. Requesting, Correcting Information
You can ask to view the information JADE Corporate and Community Development holds on your or your organization by making this request to a JADE Corporate and Community Development Manager.
We will take all reasonable steps to correct any information which you or your organization shows to be inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date.

7.5. Credit Card Security
When making a purchase from JADE, your personal details are encrypted via our secure server using 128-bit SSL encryption and authoritatively identified as such by the ‘padlock’ icon. Credit card processing is provided by eWay. Sensitive details such as cardholder details are not stored on our server.
