Strategic Management - Training for Success

One of the major issues facing organisations today is finding and maintaining staff with both relevant skills and sound experience.

Many organisations feel it is far better to upgrade and skill their existing staff rather than enticing staff from competetive organisations (usually with higher wages or other incentives).

The argument is: Can we be sure they are adequately trained for our organisation and can they adapt to and adopt our organisations culture?

If a sound strategic management process is in place organisations will know exactly where and how to upskill so that staff are able to achieve corporate objectives and goals.

A strategic map will address the questions:Who are we and where are we going, How are we going to get there and, How can we measure progress?

Without these directives staff cannot achieve organisational goals.

An effective organisation will have operational staff trained to perform their work in alignment with individual KPI's (key performance indicators) and organisational goals, as well as Management that is adequately trained in strategic planning and developing and monitoring a strategic blueprint.
