This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. The skills and knowledge gained from this qualification include implementation of emergency procedures, workplace monitoring, risk management, OHS consultation, and legal compliance. This is a flexible business course and can be tailored to produce the business outcome you require.

Requiring 9 Units for Qualification

6 core units selected from the occupational health and safety units listed below. Core units must include BSBOHS408A Assist with compliance with OHS and other relevant laws; and either of the two following units: BSBOHS405B Contribute to the implementation of emergency procedures; or BSBOHS406B Use Equipment to conduct workplace monitoring.
3 elective units
► At least 2 elective units must be selected from the remaining occupational helath and safety units or the elective units listed below.
► The remaining elective unit may be selected from the units listed below, the BSB07 Business Services Training Package or any other currently endorsed national Training Package, including from either a Cert III or Diploma qualification.
► Units from other Training Packages must not duplicate units selected from or available within BSB07 Business Services Training package
► Elective units must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level
