The Mackay & District Careers Market Expo

JADE Corporate & Community Development once again hosted a successful 2010 Steps Mackay and District Careers Expo.  Held on 11 August, 2010, the expo was a dynamic event and offered career directions to the public by highlighting career options and pathways.

The Careers Expo was a great opportunity for the public to source information and network with businesses in the local community.  Over 500 visitors attended this year, including students, parents, teachers and the general public. Visitors took advantage of the opportunity to gain information from over 50 exhibitors and even dropped off their resumes to industry professionals.

What is the Expo?

As part of the Queensland Career Expo, the Mackay & District Careers Market Expo is an annual opportunity for students, teachers, parents, adult learners, groups and individuals to participate in accessing information from a large number of industry representatives, Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s), Universities and Businesses (products and services) regarding career options.
